Education & Early Career

Mr. Scott graduated from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1985. After college, he moved to San Diego, California to become a commercial real estate agent in the sales of apartment buildings.

Mobile Home Communities

In 1988, Mr. Scott branched out to become involved in investment real estate as a principal.  After refurbishing some residential properties, he progressed into the business of acquiring manufactured home communities.

In the 1990s, Mr. Scott focused primarily on acquiring mobile home park communities, which offer affordable housing alternatives in desirable markets.  More recently, Mr. Scott has aggressively ventured into acquisitions of apartments and other commercial properties in the Los Angeles, California area. To date, Mr. Scott oversees a portfolio of mobile home park units throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Mr. Scott additionally developed https://www.zenyara.com/, a 50-acre mega resort getaway in Palm Springs, California, which offers a world-class upscale vacation experience. 

Mr. Scott is a member of the Western Mobile Home Association, the Mobile Home Educational Trust, and the California Mobile Park Association.
